Giving back

GroomQuote is built on dog data, so dogs should benefit from it too. Once the site is earning real ad revenue, 5% of profit - what's left after hosting and running costs - goes to animal shelters and rescue organizations. If we're going to make money off information about pets, some of that belongs back with the animals themselves.

5% is a baseline, not a ceiling

This is where we're starting, not where we intend to stay. As GroomQuote grows, we plan to increase that percentage over time, not just let the dollar amount grow on its own alongside it. The site is still new, with modest traffic and modest revenue to match, so this commitment starts exactly where the site is: small, honest, and going up from here.

Where it's going

We haven't picked a specific shelter or rescue yet. Once ad revenue is actually flowing, we'll share exactly where it's going, not just say it went somewhere.
